Our high-index lenses are wafer thin, and every pair of high-index lenses we sell comes with built-in UV-400 protection and scratch resistant coating, so you're getting a great lens at a great price.
Other online lens shops don't offer high-index lenses but give their customers "free" CR-39 lenses instead. CR-39 lenses are very low-quality lenses primarily associated with inferior frames. Unlike our high-index lenses, the CR-39 lenses are very thick and heavy. In addition, they are not scratch resistant, and they offer the lowest optical clarity.
As our customer, you may choose CR-39 lenses, but we do not recommend them. The various manufacturers of the top brand-name designer frames we sell all recommend high-index lenses over CR-39 lenses.
